The month of September is Craniosynostosis Awareness Month. If it wasn't for our experience with Emersyn, we wouldn't be aware. So it's now my job to help and make others aware of this condition. It is very near and dear to my heart (as you can imagine). If you'd like to know more about this condition, please contact me. As of this month, Emersyn is 1 year & one month post-op. She is truly our little miracle. Her progress has been amazing to watch and we are very proud. Emersyn is part of the Cranio Angel Network. Every year their is a Shamu & You walk in San Diego. Unfortunately we can't attend, but we've signed Emersyn up to be a virtual walker. The walk will be held on October 6th. So stay tuned....all proceeds go towards funding research and providing families with the assistance they need during surgery and post surgery.
