Shamu & You Walk

The Shamu & You Family Walk was on October 6th in San Diego. This walk raised over $10,000, which goes towards Craniosynosyosis research and to help the affected families.

Emersyn was registered as a virtual walker since we couldn't attend. The virtual walkers names were posted outside the teams tent. The team name was Cranio Angels and the mascot was a Cranio Monster. (Seen below)

Emersyn got her monster in the mail last week and the T-shirt is on the way.

Also, the word and awareness is spreading about this condition. The woman who runs the Cranio Angel Network has done a fabulous job providing families with information, resources, and the cute headband/skull caps. Currently there are 601 angels in 17 countries. And those are the known cases of Craniosynosyosis. Who knows how many unidentified cases there might be.

We've gone through this amazing journey with our little angel and will be happy to help spread the word.
