Summer in December

Summer in December, do those two words go together? On Sunday, it was 68 and sunny here in Holly Springs, NC. We were loving every minute. Dylan played in his sandbox, the dogs frolicked in the yard, the back door was open, and Emersyn rocked out some summer duds.



I believe the rule is no white after Labor Day, but as usual I am a rule breaker. Emersyn is growing way to fast and we are trying to get all of her clothes on her. I've been in love with this shirt and was afraid she wouldn't be able to wear it come spring. So, I put it on her during our lovely weather in December. Who would've thunk!?!

Dylan spent some time running around in just his underwear. When he sat for a few seconds, I made sure to capture that smile.

This photo is priceless. Dylan loves to give Emersyn kisses. She was in the middle of blowing bubbles.

Gotta love North Carolina. One day it's 68 and the next day its 47!
