As most of you know, Dylan is a tiny little guy, 6th percentile in height to be exact.
For months now he has been working hard to reach his light switch. He started off using a stool, then standing on a stuffed animal, and lastly, getting assistance from us. When he turned 3 we told him he was getting 'bigger'. To him that meant bigger in size. So every night he'd become frustrated as his little fingers reached just below the switch. So close!!!
He finally reached the light switch early last week. He stands on his tippy toes, arm stretched as far as he can get it. He looks so cute! Once he turns off the light, he turns around, a smile as big as can be, " Mommy, I'm big now! I can do it!". He is so proud if his achievement. We give him hugs and high fives to encourage his self confidence.
Our little guy is growing slowly but surely.
